Get To Know Sena And Why She Said Yes To Being A Model

How did you get roped into doing this, and what was your first thought when asked?

My husband, Randy Richichi, is the President of the Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors. My first reaction when he suggested it to me was "No Way Jose!" I don't like attention on me, but then I thought about it and knew I had to step up because it's not about me.

Why did you say yes?

This is a wonderful organization. However, the Club needs to expand so they can reach more families. If doing this event can help in that effort, I'm definitely in.

What is your official job title?

Paralegal / Property Management Assistant

How would you describe your job to your mother?

I draft legal documents for commercial properties as well as timberland's. I also help manage everything that occurs on the commercial properties such as tenant contact, paving parking lots, security patrols, garbage pick up, fire alarm testing, signage, painting, etc.

All families are unique, tell us about yours.

Randy and I have been married for 22 years. We have a 13 year old daughter, Sofia. Randy's parents, brother, and sister live in Eugene. My mother lives in Eugene, my father lives in Bend, and my brother lives in Salem. We spend a lot of time with family here and with extended family in
California.

Tell us about your personal passions, talents, and/or hobbies.

I need to make more time for charity work. I want to make the world a better place. I'm particularly fond of Boys & Girls Club, Children's Miracle Network, and CASA. We travel often and I love music, art, and theater. I also like to stay fit. I've dabbled in half marathons, triathlons, and now like to trail run with friends.

What is something that you swore you would never do as a parent before you had kids that you do now?

So many things! Eating junk food is probably the biggest one.

Who inspired you when you were growing up, and why?

I had a special relationship with my grandmother, Earnestine. She was from the South and was a forward thinker. She always encouraged me to reach for the stars. She died in 1998. I miss her and wish she could have met Sofia.

If you could go back and talk to your 12-year-old self, what would you say?

Listen to your mother! Everything she is telling you is true!
