Get To Know RaeJean And Why She Said Yes To Being A Model

How did you get roped into doing this, and what was your first thought when asked?

I was invited to a Boys and Girls club benefit breakfast, was asked to participate for a couple of years and kept saying no, but this year I said yes!

Why did you say yes?

I believe in the Boys and Girls club and the great things they are doing in our community to help kids. Helping kids is
important to me personally.

What is your official job title?

GloryBee - Senior Executive Vice President

How would you describe your job to your mother?

Sitting in a room solving problems! And/or providing direction regarding our culture, communication, industry, brand,
and products.

What is your favorite part of your occupation?

I love the people and community factor! Within the company, I really enjoy supporting people in their professional
growth. Outside the company, I get to meet amazing people in our community as a result of my job.

All families are unique, tell us about yours:

I've been part of our family business for 30 years! I grew up in a hardworking family with strong values centered around doing good, eating healthy, and finding creative solutions. Now I have my own family as a single mom of 2 boys, one graduating from high school and one from college this spring!

Tell us about your personal passions, talents, and/or hobbies.

Cooking, wine tasting, being a dedicated foodie, finding and trying cool foods, bicycling, traveling, decorating, hunting
for bargains, and telling stories. I love taking people I care about to do something special!

What is something that you swore you would never do as a parent before you had kids that you do now?

Guilt trip my kids into doing things, and tell stories about the funny things they do.

Who inspired you when you were growing up, and why?
My parents! They have always been there for their kids, have always tried to do their very best, provided opportunities, and are always looking outside of themselves. They have inspired their kids to have a passion for something, and giving back was a part of our upbringing.

If you could go back and talk to your 12-year-old self, what would you say?

If you have a dream or goal, go after it boldly! Don't hold back. Get the better grades you are capable of, pursue
things you're interested in, and have more confidence!
