Get To Know Megan And Why She Said Yes To Being A Model

How did you get roped into doing this, and what was your first thought when asked?

After a handful of people approached me about participating in the next Catwalk for a Cause, I figured it was time to step in and go for it.

What made you say yes?

I couldn’t find one reason to say no, it’s a wonderful cause.

What is your official job title?

Performance Consultant

How would you describe your job to your mother?

Enjoyable and ever changing. No two days are alike and there's always a new project to embark on and a new process to improve.

All families are unique, tell us about yours...

My little family of 4 includes my husband of almost 12 years, Adam and my children, Jaxson, 8 and Jemma, 6. I would also be remiss not to mention my fierce girl squad: my mamma and my sister.

Tell us about your personal passions, talents, and/or hobbies.

I am a women of many passions and a slew of hobbies. A few of those include crafting (anything DIY), traveling, girls nights, event planning, parties, decorating, good wine and family time!

What is something that you swore you would never do as a parent before you had kids that you do now?

Use the "because I am the mom and I said so" card.

What is something that people might be surprised to know about you?

My first job (and perhaps one of my favorite) was at a hot dog stand.

Who inspired you when you were growing up?

My mom. She was always a hard working, energetic, God fearing woman who loved fiercely and unconditionally.

If you could go back and talk to your 12-year-old self, what would you say?

Be more confidant. Stop trying to grow up and PS - your mom knows what she's talking about and it would behoove you to stop talking back.
