Get To Know Lisa And Why She Said Yes To Being A Model

How did you get roped into doing this, and what was your first thought when asked?

Amy Newport and Christina Michell said I was doing it this year! Not sure they would’ve let me get out of it. I was like oh boy, now I have big shoes to fill!

Why did you say yes?

I am proud of what Kendall does for the community, and being asked to represent them is an honor.

What is your official job title?

Internet sales associate

How would you describe your job to your mother?

It’s like selling horses mom except it’s for wheels now not for legs.

All families are unique, tell us about yours.

I recently got married (November 25, 2017). We have three boys three dogs for horses and the cat. Our oldest of serving in the Marine Corp now. There is never a doll moment in our world.

Tell us about your personal passions, talents, and/or hobbies.

I am very passionate about my horses when I’m not at work I am there with them I feel fortunate that I was able to make a great living and travel the world with my horses.

What is something that you swore you would never do as a parent before you had kids that you do now?

Doting on them. I find myself doing everything I can for them. I have to have a little pep-talk with myself at times.

Who inspired you when you were growing up, and why?

My parents, no matter what was happening in life, my brother and I never knew there was any issues. They are some of the hardest working people I know. They’re marriage is not something you see very often.

If you could go back and talk to your 12-year-old self, what would you say?

Stop slow down, listen more, and take advantage of more opportunities.
