Get To Know Lindsay And Why She Said Yes To Being A Model

How did you get roped into doing this, and what was your first thought when asked?

Aaron Haack (CEO/Director of BGCEV) had left me a message asking me to call him back...My first thought was a solid NO (not to calling him back, but in regards to being a model). I thought, there is no way I am a model, and I will need help walking! ;) This is something really out of my element!

Why did you say yes?

Aaron promised me I would have a blast!

What is your official job title?

Director of Franchise and Development

How would you describe your job to your mother?

"See that new/remodeled Taco Bell over there...that was my project."

All families are unique, tell us about yours.

My family is amazing! My parents are the best support you could ask for. I have 4 siblings, two brothers and two sisters, and they are the four best friends anyone could ask for. I also have one more best friend, my 8yr old son.

Tell us about your personal passions, talents, and/or hobbies.

I really enjoy some "me time" at the gym. My son keeps me really busy these days with all his activities, so free time can be challenging. I do love getting together with friends and a tasty margarita. In college I played piano as a side job. I also enjoy going on hikes, running, paddle boarding...typical Eugene activities.

Who inspired you when you were growing up, and why?

My late uncle was the first person who came to mind.  There are many people from my family who also inspired me, but my uncle Ed had this amazing belief in all people, especially me.  He had the ability to light up a room with his positive energy.

If you could go back and talk to your 12-year-old self, what would you say?

I would say a lot of things! I would say, take the risk, be confident in yourself-there is only one you so own it! Keep your head up, say something, step out of your element, try new things, don't be scared!  Look people in the eye...say something.
