Get To Know Erik And Why He Said Yes To Being A Model
How did you get roped into doing this, and what was your first thought when asked?
A good friend asked if I would consider this and I wondered how non-accountant I could be for an event like this!
What made you say yes?
Kids are our future, the leaders of our community, one of the best investments we can make is in them.
What is your official job title?
Fractional CFO
How would you describe your job to your mother?
I help businesses and organizations plan their financial operations to achieve their mission.
All families are unique, tell us about yours...
Our family is a bunch of home-bodies, we love staying at home, in Eugene. We also like building memories with friends and always making new friends and inviting them over for dinner or to do activities.
Tell us about your personal passions, talents, and/or hobbies.
I love running and golf, getting outdoors and breathing the perfect oxygen we have here.
What is something that you swore you would never do as a parent before you had kids that you do now?
My parents had me in cloth diapers, so I thought I'd do the same, but definitely didn't stick to that plan!
What is something that people might be surprised to know about you?
I know exactly to the day how many hours I've worked in my career and have until I retire.
Who inspired you when you were growing up?
Cal Ripken Jr., he beat Lou Gehrig for most consecutive games played at one of the most competitive sports, exhibiting you play your best every day, every game.
If you could go back and talk to your 12-year-old self, what would you say?
I'd tell that kid don't try to figure girls out, you never will....
